Art as Resistance, Beauty as Legacy
The Vision of Botini

Welcome to My World - Where Color Speaks Truth

Peace and welcome. I'm Botini---visual artist, cultural storyteller, and daughter of the south.

This space is more than a gallery: it's a living archive. Each piece I create is an act of remembrance, resistance, and reclamation. I work primarily in acrylic to center Black people- especially Black women--as both subject and spirit. Through bold, intentional strokes, I honor the brilliance, resilience, and beauty that defines us, even when history has tried to erase us.

As an artist, I am on a mission to preserve and uplift the cultural heritage and history of Black people in the Americas. My work confronts the deep wounds of systemic oppression, slavery, and their aftermath-- not to dwell in pain, but to make space for truth, dignity, and healing.  I create so that our stories endure, so that future generations can see themselves; powerful, beautiful, and unbroken.

Thank you for visiting. I invite you to explore these works not just with your eyes, but with your spirit. May you find pieces of your own story within mine.

With love and purpose,

Botini
